Everything seems to fall into place this season for Virat Kohli and his group of boys. Bangalore extended their winning run to 4 consecutive matches on Thursday defeating Rajasthan Royals. They remain the only team in this season who are yet to suffer a defeat and sit very cosily at the top of the table.
Bangalore whitewashed Rajasthan Royals on Thursday. They won the toss and decided to bowl first and were handed a decent total of 177 runs. The opening partnership comprising Kohli and Devdutt Paddikal finished the job without any fall of wicket. Devdutt Paddikal scored a staggering 101 runs of 52 balls, the second three-figure mark in this years’ IPL.
Kohli got his first half-century in this years’ IPL and contributed the team total with 72 runs to his name and won the match with 21 balls remaining.
Going against Chennai might be difficult but not impossible for Kohli as his team are in a red-hot form.

After a disastrous season in IPL 2020, Chennai Super Kings have made a surprising comeback and are serious contenders for the trophy this season. They have lost just one out of their last 4 matches and are just behind RCB in the points table. A win on Sunday for Dhoni and his team will make sure they overtake RCB and hand them their maiden loss in this years’ IPL.
Chennai played their old rivals KKR in the last match as they emerged to be the better of the two.
