This commercialized biopic of MS Dhoni portrayed his journey from a footballer to a school wicket-keeper to a ticket collector to playing for team India. The film depicted all of Dhoni’s challenges, even the personal ones. Sushant Singh Rajput’s portrayal of Dhoni has also been praised a lot and so have been Kiara Advani and Disha Patani’s portrayal of his wife and ex-girlfriend respectively.
Aamir Khan starrer Lagaan directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar is one of the finest examples of Indian cinema. It shows the poor conditions of the Indians during the British era. A young India took up the challenge of defeating the British in their own game.
